EUV continuum generated from a compressed supercontinuum pulse produced in a set of thin fused silica plates

A one-cycle (3.3fs) pulse compressed from a set of thin plates generated supercontinuum has been demonstrated and used to produce a bright EUV continuum with 5×10-5 up-conversion efficiency from 43 to 65 eV, supporting an isolated, transform-limited pulse of 190 attoseconds
