A continuous-wave narrow-linewidth bi-photon source.

We give a proposal to build a bi-photon generation. This simple setup could continuously generate narrow-line width photon pairs. The line width could be small than 1 MHz. The mechanism is based on four-wave-mixing in Rubidium vapor cell. Bi-photon generation is more useful than single-photon source. The special feature in our scheme is that, when a pair of entangled photons are generated, the dispersion relations of each photon are dramatically different. The one with faster velocity serves as trigger signal. The slower one, which is due to electromagnetically induced transparency phenomenon, can be used in any purpose. In this talk, we'd like to show our preliminary experiment data and other detail of importance.
