Surface Plasmon Resonant modes in Smiling Nanodisk Dimer Structures

We design a structure which looks like a smiling face composed of a C-ring and a nanodisk dimer. By using the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method, we predict the optical surface plasmon properties of different geometrical parameters. In order to find out the strongly coupled surface plasmon resonant modes of the structure, we analyze the simulations for electric fields and spectra to obtain more understanding.
