The Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics of the Academia Sinica (ASIAA) is engaged in a number of large-scale international facility projects, including ALMA, SMA, GLT, Subaru, CFHT, TAOS2, and EAO. These projects generate research opportunities for all astrophysicists in Taiwan to use these observing facilities. These observing facilities have diverse capabilities, allowing us to study topics ranging from detailed star formation process (accretion disks and jets) to the structure and evolution of the Universe (galaxies, clusters, supermassive black holes). I will introduce the facilities made available by ASIAA and highlight exciting scientific results.
