Low frequency noise and transport properties in bilayer graphene

We have separated bilayer graphene from graphite flakes by mechanical exfoliation method, and determined the layer number by Raman spectroscopy and optical contrast. The Cr/Au electrodes were then fabricated by standard e-beam lithography followed by thermal deposition. We measured the low frequency noise and resistivity at low temperatures to study the interaction between conduction carriers and defects in bilayer graphene devices.
