Electronic properties of stripe-order graphene oxide

In this work, we mainly discuss electronic properties of the stripe-order graphene oxide which consists of a single graphene layer with oxygen-stripe structure along the armchair and zigzag directions of graphene. Each oxygen atom is located at the center of a carbon bridge constructed by the two nearest neighbor carbon atoms. The electronic properties of the oxygen-stripe along the armchair and zigzag directions reveal strongly anisotropic behavior, such as the different low-energy peak features of density of states. Furthermore, the influence of coverage rate (number of carbon atom/number of oxygen atom) on the electronic properties is also taken into account.
