Robust and Highly Efficient Nanofiber Membranes for Water Purification

The removal of heavy metal ion pollutants from waste water is an extremely important issue. In this research, different nanofiber membranes (PVP and TiO2) can be used to purify water. We use the large surface area, high uniformity, and numerous active sites of the nanofibers surface to remove different heavy metal ion(Pb2+ , Cu2+ , Ni2+ and so on) efficiently. This study provides a useful method for water purification.
